The Minimum Fixing Thickness

This figure is the minimum distance which the bolt in question is able to fix. It is calculated using the combined thickness of the materials being clamped.

The Maximum Fixing Thickness

This figure is the maximum distance which the bolt in question is able to fix. It is calculated using the combined thickness of the material being fixed. The Tensile Strength

This is a measure of the pull-out force needed for the bolt to fail when a tensile load is being applied.

The Depth Clearance

This figure is the minimum space needed within the cavity wall for the legs on the TW Bolt to deploy effectively.

It has to be noted carefully when using the bolts to fix into Steel Hollow Sections, as this will make sure the bolt doesn’t reach the opposite section wall prior to being correctly installed.
